About me

Hi, I'm Renata. The story of my business is pretty simple.

I have been sewing for more than 60 years :) My first make was a handbag for myself, really a sack I made of cotton. I was 5, proud and injured because I ran the presser foot and the needle through my index finger :) Ever since then I have made all kind of things with my sewing machine(s). Men's suits, shirts, graduation dresses, bags, blankets, winter coats, drapery...you name it.

Last year got involved in testing new patterns for handbag designers and was struck by the beauty of some faux leather available in other parts of the world but not in the US. So, I thought and thought: what if I designed some beautiful patterns and had them printed locally? Well, that was quite a challenge because most of the faux leather that is reasonably priced comes from other continents. That wasn't an option for me. I wanted to support local businesses. But no-one was going to talk to me, a lady who just had a wild idea. Until I found a local business that  accepted my unusual request. The rest is history. The owner of that printing business printed some samples for me and they looked perfect! Here they are. Not made in who-knows-where. Not imported, either. Proudly printed in the US. I hope you enjoy them and make some awesome bags and wallets and perhaps some other beautiful creations. I hope you will be inspired and share your beautiful makes wherever you can!

Apart from creating some patterns patterns for my vinyl, I am an artist, a live painter and I teach watercolor to all levels, and I also teach every medium. Have a look here  Live Event Painting by Renata

A few years ago I started designing some awesome brush rolls for my students and eventually ended up selling them to the public through my Etsy store here ArtLoveGoods

Let's make some awesome stuff and please let me know what kind of printed patterns you would like to see in the future. One thing, though: I am not a fan of cutesy stuff or some well-known characters if you know what I mean. I want to create some timeless patterns that are beautiful and stylish!

Looking forward to hearing your feedback, please.

Thank you for supporting my small business.
