About me
Hi, I'm Renata. The story of my business is pretty simple.
I have been sewing for more than 60 years :) My first make was a handbag for myself, really a sack I made of cotton. I was 5, proud and injured because I ran the presser foot and the needle through my index finger :) Ever since then I have made all kind of things with my sewing machine(s). Men's suits, shirts, graduation dresses, bags, blankets, winter coats, drapery...you name it.
In 2021 I got involved in testing new patterns for handbag pattern designers and was struck by the beauty of some faux leather available in other parts of the world but not in the US. So, I thought and thought: what if I designed some beautiful patterns and had them printed locally? Well, that was quite a challenge because most of the faux leather that is reasonably priced comes from other continents. That wasn't an option for me. I wanted to support local businesses. But no-one was going to talk to me, a lady who just had a wild idea. Until I found a local business that accepted my unusual request. The rest is history. The owner of that printing business printed some samples for me and they looked perfect! Here they are. Not made in who-knows-where. Not imported, either. Proudly printed in the US.
And now I print in-house on my regular and the UltraVinyl as well as on the water repellent canvas.
And recently I added our own selection of urethane coated 600 denier water repellent canvas called YVS WRC for bag ling and bag exterior. You will find a wide range of waterproof canvas aka Ottertex® with a PVC backing and some tools and notions. The seam ripper/stiletto combos and the seam rollers are also crafted locally by my very skilled friend.
I hope you enjoy them and make some awesome bags and wallets and perhaps some other beautiful creations. I hope you will be inspired and share your beautiful makes wherever you can!
I invite you to join my private FB group where you can see hundreds of beautiful creations and perhaps share yours

Apart from creating some patterns for my vinyl, I am an artist, a live painter and I teach watercolor to all levels, and I also teach every medium. Have a look here Live Event Painting by Renata
And when I have some time left over for doing anything else, I grab my camera and shoot myself stupid :)
Let's make some awesome stuff and please let me know what kind of printed patterns you would like to see in the future. One thing, though: I am not a fan of cutesy stuff or some well-known characters if you know what I mean. I want to create some timeless patterns that are beautiful and stylish!
Looking forward to hearing your feedback, please.
Thank you for supporting my small business.
